Selecting the optimal outdoor heat rejection is imperative in today’s world of increasing server rack densities. This presentation will discuss the current evolution towards liquid cooled server racks and the transfer of heat from the white space to the outdoors. A case study will be used to illustrate the possible outdoor heat rejection solutions while considering water, energy, fluid operating temperatures, operational flexibility, and other site-specific parameters.
